Question what flavours should my boiles be ?

At the moment I am using tigernut boiles and mango and peach but what should I be using. Should i be using fishy baits or sweet? What are you catching on. =)

Re: what flavours should my boiles be ?

yea me too

the end of last season i got myself some groats and some hemp and never got round to preparing it

last week i decided to break it open and see what i could do

couple kilos of hemp boiled up and a couple kilos of groats (i boiled my groats but i dont think you have too?) i then added 1lb of icing sugar! a tin of sweet corn and left it in a bucket of hemp juices

im left with a really sweet sticky mix and it certainly got the carp going last week

im going again tomorrow and will be using it again i will let you know how i get on

Re: what flavours should my boiles be ?

Don't get too hung up on boilies, I fished today and all the boilies were not being taken. Each side of me was blanking, I had some small success with pepperami and bloodworm pellets.

always, and I mean always, be prepared to vary the baits.

there is no one right flavour or method.
