how to use a pop up on the bottom?

dose anyone know the best way to present a pop up on the bottom, and the best rig to use . many thanks =)

I am no expert, but I would use a "D" rig with a small olivette on the line.

A KD "korda development" rig would only be suitable if the bait was critically balanced. If not then the hook will drag alerting the carp to spit it out.

Another tactic to use is a supple bit of braid with a shot two inched from the hook bait as weight to turn the hook. A choody hook would be best along with a a chod rig.
