Re: Paste I know you can make pellets into a paste by soaking them in water and then working them into a pastey like doe with your fingers, I doubt bolies would make a paste, they just don't take in water like the pellets. Hope this helps, BW __________________ Blackwater Tackle Supplies Keep Ulster's Waters Healthy, Practice Catch and Release!

Re: Paste I think that if you blitz pellets in a blender, (for domestic bliss buy a cheapy just for bait). Then combine with eggs, along with any additional flavours. Basically paste baits are non boiled boilies. On the carp baits section on the forum is a boilie base mix, I use and you can get the mixture for half the price of commercial mixes. I bought mine in Morrisons, and The healthfood shop by specsavers, Holland and Barret I think. Works for me. Instead of trying to convert boilies into pellets, which would be costly, buying boilies, why not create your own version.

Re: Paste The base mix is no good its relying on the flavour colour to catch not its nutritinal value. To make a good paste from scratch works out more exspencive than ready made shop bought.
