House Hold Flavors For Boilies?

Hi everyone i am making some homemade boilies for the first time and i was wondering what are the best HOUSEHOLD flavors to put in which will catch big fish.Thanks

all fruity flavours seem to work,savoury like bovril and marmite have also been successful over the years,

Try spices,curry powders,fish stock not neccessairily all together mind & as Paul says dont overlook strawberry one of the most popular carp baits ever.

There is a thread in carp baits, which gives you details of a base mix that you can get from supermarket/health food shops. I use it and it works great.
Herbs de provance can also be used to give a savoury bait. How about mixing up some crab or shrimp paste into the egg mix?
Have a look at the flavourings section in the baking isle in your local shops. Also colourings, some lake fish prefer certain colours.

How about adding some maize flour. Sainsburys does one made by coolchileco.
