| Re: Expander Pellets Hello Dave Never used them myself, but I think that you soak them or put them into a pump ( device to extract all the air and allow them to soak up the liquid), this process allows flavours to be added and makes them nice and soft for hook baits. read this interesting article about mixing them with jelly! jelly Let me know how you get on with expanders, I have yet to try any and I am interested to see what you think of them. | Re: Expander Pellets Best method is to buy pellet pump. This allows the pellets to soften and, depending on the number of pumps you make, you can change the buoyancy of the pellet. You can make your own pellet pump from a pop bottle by inserting a car tyre valve (I can't remember the exact process but will look it up and try to post it for you!). Soaking them for a while will soften them enough to hook but the pump is quicker. |
