Port Bruce again.

30 July 11 Tom & myself spent the day on the water off Port Bruce.
Slow start for us with nothing but a couple sheephead(freshwater drum) & a couple knockoffs until almost 1 PM.
10 to 1 I got this 28" walleye.

This was quickly followed by Tom's walleye.

Rounded out the day with a total of 3 each. Look close one is hiding behind Tom's right arm.

Mixed veggies & green monkey puke coloured spoons were the tickets for us. 2 off downriggers & 4 off dipsey divers.

A Mixed Veggies coloured spoon.

A Green Monkey Puke coloured spoon.

*Our spoon manufacturers have some colourful names for their spoon colours.*

A Downrigger used for presenting your lure at a controlled depth while trolling.

A Dipsey Diver used attached to your line for presenting your lure at a controlled depth & out to the side of the boat while trolling.

Oh, wow! Really are colourful names!!

Thanks for taking the time to explain - much appreciated.

Can just imagine asking my missus to poip into the tackle shop to bring back some Green Monkey Puke coloured spoons.

Cheers and keep the interesting stories coming.
