jrc defender bivvy

as above was just wondering if anyone has had ones of these or still has got one??

the one i might be buying off some one is a jrc defender bivvy r.e 5000 comes with the ground sheet/winter overwrap aswell as all pegs and bags etc looks in good condition also

just wonderin if they are good bivvy also are they hard to set up/pack away

I don't have the defender but I do have a 2 man sti. Can not fault it solid and realiable. Just check to see what door options you have. I have a choice of 3 but use the mozzie or clear panel.

forgot to put that but yes its got the mozzie and clear panel and the panel thats the same colour as the bivvy its self


are they hard to set up/pack away would you say???

No just clip poles together already in bivvy. One peg in the back pull to the front two in the door to get the tightness then peg the rest could not be simpler.

picked the bivvy up earlier on.and im really pleased with it. i cant belive how easy it is to set up/pack away.

I didnt bother putting the winter skin on but im sure it would be easy enough.

i should of taken a pic but didnt think at the time
