Buying Rods Online - What help you!

Hi Guys!

I am looking at buying a new rod online to save some money but ill be honest, im struggling to know what to look at (unexpereinced fisherman here!). Most of the photos are unhelpful as the rod looks so tiny (eg the Argos pages).

I was wondering what i should be looking at if not the photo, any stats in particular (i know this depends on what im looking to catch)...I could really do with a video of it being used!!!

Thanks for your help

Re: Buying Rods Online - What help you!

Hi Scorch, It would depend on what species you want to fish for. If you see a rod you like, try putting up the model on you tube, you might be lucky to get a video of someone using it. You could also try Googling the model for a review, or one of the anglers on the forum might have the same rod. Hope this helps.
