I have both and personally i think the 7ht is easier to use than the abu. don't know what other members think.

The rocket is one of the fastest reels abu made imho better off geting a magged braked reel for better control

i can't fault the 7ht, rebuilt mine again today, its had a new spool and now 2 new handles, & the beast still lives,
how long have they been on the market? still pretty much unchanged

I agree with you on the 7ht geejay i've 2 and they've never let me down. I've also a mag elite and thats an awsome reel as well
