| Hi... Can someone let me know where I might look to find the value of a vintage reel I just inherited. I checked ebay, but there were none listed like mine. Its a Garcia Mitchell #300x. it has never been used, and has the original seal around the line. It has a reel tool included in the box. The reels on ebay all have smaller boxes and none have 300x on box. It was probably bought in the 1960's, the box is all cardboard and the original paperwork is enclosed. Does anyone have a price guide? or can you tell me how to find the value? I don't want to just put it on ebay,(never done ebay) so I would like to know an approximate value before I see what a dealer will give me. Thanks |

| Re: Question -where find value of vintage reels? Contact t8956@aol.com, he has a history of the 300 series on the net and appears to be a bit of an expert and collector of this model through the years. Have a look at http://www.geocities.com/fisherdude2..._300_reels.htm He lists the 300x as a modern real, so you may have an unusual version - or he may wear anoracks |
