Fladen total carbon 10-20 lb

Ive just got a new boat road. Its a fladen total carbon rated at 10-20 lb. I would recomend this to anyone who goes pollack fishing. With 10lb braid the road is a dream. Its light to hold but got so much power in the road so ur arm does not get tired and the fish plays the rod. Its also good for plugging.

Re: Fladen total carbon 10-20 lb

Looking at getting a new boat rod for my birthday - would these Fladens be better than the Ugly Sticks ?

Cheers

Re: Fladen total carbon 10-20 lb

Fished with the Fladen Maximus for about two years now and they are good for the cost of them - very light and thin

There action is nice and if you hose them down every time you use them then they will last which let just face it is not that common for a fladen

One major problem is that cork hands ! why on earth they ever put them on is beyond me and my handles are falling to bits now but it works out about £15 pounds a year before you have to throw them into the bin and thats not bad when you can spend that much money on bait in one trip

Re: Fladen total carbon 10-20 lb

i and bought a maximus 20-50 (6.6') and was saying about the handle and the lenth been a bit short for my likeing to a fella in the pub . and he told me about the 8 ' version, it has a foam handle too and he gave me the web site.

its brillant , probaly one of the best rods iv ever bought and it was only £50 (cheaper than the first one i bought) saying that thay are ex display but you cant tell the difference,

dont know if am i allowed to put the web site on here, but if you want it pm me and il send it over
