Re: Conger trip

Hi Lee, think the trace Q is covered, conger bites however can be very gentle, if you give it too much time it'll be back in the wreck and 80% to 20 you'll snap off.

If it does make it back inside, no amount off bulling will move it, only thing to try is slacken off slightly and hope it comes out again.

Have a good'un

Hi drew ,
apparently the skipper dont like wire traces ,
as it cuts hands when unhooking ?????

cheers lee.

Re: Conger trip

Na wont be that it will be because wire is thin and with a heavy eel on the end will cut through skin easy

Re: Conger trip

Well hi all ,
sorry the reports a little late as my pc has been bust for nearly 2 weeks !!!,
well we had a fantastic trip , we fished a little wreck just off the needles ,
and the fishing was great !!!, conger , pollack , cod , doggies , pout lol ,
everyone caught a conger except me and paul lol ,we did hook 2 each ,
but with little experience lost them ,the skipper did try to show us how its done but by then the eels were gone ,
i didnt blank though i caught 2 pout and a doggie so not all lost lol ,
we are off again on the 25th of this month , so cant wait hopefully with reports of a bigger fish for me !!!!!!!! heres some pics !!!,

cheers lee.
