How's the Spoils fishing?

Hi folks,
Looks like there's a gap in the weather at the end of the week, I'm hoping to get SeaMouse out from Eastney after an early cod. Anyone (Karl??) know whether the pout and conger have started to show on the Spoils yet?

Yes, a Warrior Pro Angler. I sold Lookfar a few months ago but have not changed my forum name yet.

Good luck on Friday, hope the weather comes true.
Have heard of the odd codling coming off Lee and Brown Down beaches but nothing from the boats as the wind has been blowing most of the time.

Hi Dave,
I'm not so convinced by the east wind rule, but for sure it'll be going against the tide all day. Going to lump up towards force 5 by end of day as well so it'll be a hard slog home. Dammit, I should have gone today!!

hello steve,i have been to egypt for the last 10 days 37 degrees out there,i am sitting here with the heating on and thermals.no one down the club
has been out,except for a couple of boats that were fishing up wooton creek for flounders,they had quite a few good size flounders aswell as some nice bass to just under 5lb.
