Well guys not long now and I know your all well up for the days fun

We will be sailing 6.00am so we must be on the boat for 5.30am because of locking out of the marina and sorting out the passes for the car park first.

Remember live peeler crabs are the top bait !!

Going to be a cracking day - fingers cross on the weather

Or softies Richard, on the last trip we had equal amounts of both and to be honest the softies are easier to use as you don't have all the faffing about...just bang em on and elastic them job done!

That is an early!!! thought there was only one 5.30 inthe day!!!

Is that Old Smoothy joining us on the boat?

That's certainly early but sure it will be worth it

Any idea how many peelers we are going to need for each of us and is it worth bringing rag ? Can you order peelers from Penarth Marina ?

At the moment me Shads and the old man will have 2 dozen between us - just let us know how many we need !!

Many thanks

The more crabs the better !!!......usually i`d say at least a dozen per person, the tide washes the baits out very quickly, and when the smoothies are on the feed the actions fast and furious. There`s no where in Penarth that sells peelers unfortunatley.Rag doesn`t do that much in the summer, better off with sandeel, squid and a bit of mackerel.
