As long as the beaches are steep to, like Chesil you might find them. They tend to sit on the edge of the tide run, so the ends of beaches are good. Also look for shingle and sand mix as they'll definitely sit on the edge of the shingle in a depression. So, no grip leads, but plain ones that can roll and find the depressions.

Hi Blokes, inshore plaice, turbot, brill and sole but westerly winds best, out a bit rays, congers, bullhuss, dogs and pout, out a bit more pollack over rough ground and wrecks. Black bream due in soon, brilliant fishing but catch and release promoted coz we almost lost 'em years ago, on a good day in May over 100 over the rough sometimes! Better than Littlehampton ! Biased...me....never...Poole 'it's a beautiful place !'.

Malcolm, is there much happening from the shore at Shell Bay?

Steve Porter sent me your details this week for a trip out tomorrow but my mate needs to get back to Glouscester by 6 so we're fishing Chesil but we will be in touch for a midweek trip soon.

Hi mate, picked up a full charter for tomorrow. Sat and Sun busy too...looks good for next week, offshore a bit for conger, rays and bullhuss, neap tides..spaces available...beach fishing still a bit tough so probably chesil good bet in the day or Bournemouth at night for the sole, plaice, and other flats. Good luck...
