Re: new reel ?

hi mate whatever you get, it wants to have a level wind for wrecking, speed of wind is not that important, and it needs to cope with a good fish there are a lot on the market, will post back when I've been down to Dave's tackle later today.

Re: new reel ?

It won't be as cheap as you think. I import a lot of stuff from the states weekly and the tax on top makes a huge difference.

You will have to pay import VAT which can be anything up to 26% and then import duty and then brokerage surcharges.

The last time I bought something low cost was $140.00 which should have cost me around £75. After I paid all the duties it totalled £120

People forget about this, though Im sure its got to be over $100.00

A little trick that use to work was if you are buying from amazon get it gift wrapped hence it is now a present an exept - This might have changed so please check be for ordering

Re: new reel ?

I've bought a few items off ebay from the States and never had to pay any import duties etc.
