Re: new reel ?

I have the Shakespeare Navigator 2923 401LW model and it is fantastic for wreak fishing. I have had a few Penn models in the past but this is far better then any of them. I have used it with braid and with mono. It is a pleasure to fish with this real and it also looks great in a titanium/gold colour. Cost me about £70 i think.

Re: new reel ?

If you get a chance go to Trago Mills in Devon or Cornwall as they were selling Penn reels, factory reconditioned, for silly money.

£18 mate, exc. postage & packing. Duty is added and then VAT applied to the lot. Parcelforce may also charge you to clear the items from customs. Best to try and buy from Europe.

Re: new reel ?

Want some bass? Come to Teignmouth, south devon. We got loads.
You don't need your new reel. An old carp rod and baitrunner reel works fine. Even macks fight like tuna on light gear. More fun than you can dream about.

Regards, Jules
