i think i already have a handicap just cause of sods law and it being me

re handicap. myself a John marshall will only fish a single hook and start with a 25 point handicap, the rest of you can fish max three hooks one rod only

The long range weather looks good. we have a big tide so the day will involve two moves to gives us a chance at the pack tope and all the other species, Pack tope in this area have been known to reach forty pounds so Richard may well get his wish.

WE WILL BE LEAVING THE GOSPORT FERRY PONTOON AT 0800 THEREFORE WE WILL MEET IN THE CAR PARK BEHIND THE BUS STATION AT 0730 TO GIVE US PLENTY OF CHANCE TO GET THE CARS PARKED AND THE GEAR DOWN TO THE PONTOON. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE AS WE WILL NOT WAIT AFTER 0800.

40lb!!!!! this should mean i stand a chance of getting my target of a 10lb+ fish
when you say pack that means more than 1 but how many more than 1 are likely to be caught if we find a pack??

well, i mean if we catch 1 is there likely to be more caught at around the same time?? and if so is it like more than 1 person hooking into 1 at a time or slower than that??

oh and richard that would be very good getting a 10lber and even better if i started winning, the 10lber might happen but winning might be going abit far
are the tactics for catching tope, smoothies and rays pritty much the same and then catching other things like bream different, well i mean if i did 1 thing am i likely to get different types of fish or do i just fish with 1 type of rig tryna catch 1 type of fish, if that makes any sense

First yes they are in packs so when one gets one normaly other people on the boat start to get knocks

When targeting fish ie different types you must remember that they feed differently i.e bait tide , so if you are going for say tope you need a nice piece of macherel (fresh) - when I mean piece this can mean the whole thing yet fishing for bream the small hook small bait as they only have small mouths

I think the best thing is when we are out things can be explain more as the visuals are at hand and Gus / John / Andyg / Downsouth of course me

Its just like freshwater fishing if your going for chub then you would not fish the same rig as for dace
