| Marie rose....again. Hi guys, just thought I'd give you all a good laugh. At work wednesday having a well earned coffee and my phone goes off. Answer it and a voice asks who I am...weird, well it's the teignmouth harbourmaster. jules your boat is about 3 miles off shore can you come and retrieve it? I damned and blasted a touch on hearing that. No i can't I'm in the middle of somerset and anyway only own 1 boat. OK he says I'll go and get it and find a spare mooring, by the way there seems to be 20 feet of chain hanging off the front! So now I don't know where my boat is and need to sink a new mooring 200 yards out on thick mud. Lifes a peach. Just to make me grumpier I've just checked all the boat gear ready for the season and my flares are out of date, all my lifejackets need re arming, the radio won't charge and in frustration I kicked the anchor....don't. it hurts. Yesterday I walked 200 yards to local fishery, for 6 quid I fished all day in comfort, caught 14 carp to just over 16lbs. Why on earth do I own a boat????????????
