Well i`ve been earning some Brownie points for the last couple of weeks and i`m cashing a few in tomorrow (Sat). High tide is about 0900 ish and 13.4 metres. Think i`ll be getting the 10 o`clock lock and heading down to the Barry area on the spring ebb. If I can get half an hour off work today i`ll try and pick up some fresh hermits which should give me another option to add to the Tiger prawn, Mackie, squid and rag. Should be able to fish the last 4 hours of the ebb and maybe a bit of the flood before having to be back at the slipway at 4.30. What a pain in the ar*e having to fish leisure centre opening times. The slipway is operated by the local authority although its owned by the harbour authority. But its the only place around where I can launch on my own in safety.
Anyway.. i`ll let you all know how I get on out there.
Tight lines y`all for the weekend. Looks like the weather should be ok for a couple of days. Cloudy with sunny intervals light to moderate W-NWesterly winds, rain on Monday just in time for the Bank Holiday. Thats the last forecast I saw anyway.....dont take my word for it though.
