humming bird fish finder?

hi there.

after your advice about the problems i'm getting with the fish finder i've got, i'm looking at buying a different one and returning the s**t one. so has anyone got a "hummingbird 'Wide Eye' fish finder Sonar" or your opinions on the make/ model?

Hummingbird seem to be very popular with small boat users.One thing to bear in mind is the fishfinder is only as good as the transducer you fit to the boat,the better spec transducer the better on screen picture of whats below....

there's quite a small budget for the fish finder. do you think that it would do the job? we won't be fishing in a great depth of water and just want arough picture of the bottom for now, we've had to fish blind for the last couple of trips.
