Wreck Fishing Poole

Wreck Fishing Poole

Well andyg was a little star and has got me on a wrecking trip out of poole this coming saturday

Weather permitting will be getting out after some pollock . Tackle will be long flowing traces of about 10 - 15 ft dropped down to the bottom and the worked over the wrecks on the drift

Will be using shads , pirks , firetails and grubs

Pic of a shad

So with fingers crossed we will hopefull get the fish and get some more of these

Me

Andyg

At slack water down will go baited hooks to see whats about . If its a goer it will be a great day catching up with a great mate and finally to be able to get out on a boat again

Re: Wreck Fishing Poole

Hi Richard,

Nice pics, great looking fish. I haven't seen a sniff of quality Pollack like that since I gave up on the Charter boats and bought my own little vessel. There are advantages to owning your own boat but one of the downsides is missing out the top class sport an offshore wreck, good size boat and quality skipper can provide.

Good luck, pray the weathers good and look forward in hearing how you got on.

James

Re: Wreck Fishing Poole

Hi Lads,

What boat are you using?

I am out from Poole on the 26th March with Andy Cummings on Silver Spray.

Cheers

Drew
