| Hello Again, Can fish detect the pulses from Fish Finders? I often anchor in fairly shallow water in less than 30ft if the wind is too strong to allow drifting and I often leave my Lowrance 15 dual frequency fish finder switched on. I sometimes find that fish bites disappear yet return when it is switched off.Is this just a coincidance? Do the pulses create a "scare Zone".My freinds tell me that it should make no difference at all as fish cannot detect the transducer pulses. It does make me wonder? I am reluctant to switch it off because it is such a great piece of kit even in 5 feet of water and shows fish, the nature of the sea bed under the boat, gullies and kelp. What do you think???? __________________ gadusgadus |
