Have booked Lady Helen for a forum meet , so if you fancy going boat fishing and joining fellow members on a great day out then this is for you.

Lady Helen is a cracking boat if you want to catch fish and although fishing is fishing if anyone is going to catch then Mike and Danny will be the boat that does it

Sunday June 11 2006 - sailing time to be confirmed but between 7 am / 9am

Cost
Per person not including bait or rod hire = £30.00
It will only be 8 people on the boat although she take much more , but more space means more fun

What is the boat and what tactics will be needed
Well I hope mick does not mind here are some like to his site that will cover all your answers and much more and saves lots of pms . Basics are downtiding or uptiding over reef /sandbars or greneral rough ground

Once you have checked all this then send me a pm and I will put your name down .

PLEASE NOTE - Payment is require once you agree to come ( no money no place ) and if you drop out 31 days before the date and a replacement cannot be found then you loose your money

The reason for this is because others should not and will not have to pay extra because someone did not turn up ( I know its harsh but trust me it happens to often )

This is going to be a great day out as they always are and if you love your fishing and a bit of banter the here we go !!!

Excellent news, I'll hopefully be able to get out on one of these trips once I've checked with the social secretary. What would be the target species that time of year? I'd also have to hire rod etc.

Yes rod hire is avalible but would have to pm mike first

As for fish they are all listed on his site but the main ones are smoothounds / ray / conger / tope and might be lucky and get some dogfish

07.22 high water 11.18m ,13.30 low water.

Ideal time to go will be 7.30 lock out,you`d need to be at the Marina for 7 am........

I'm looking good for this one and hope to confirm in the next few days! Mike, will I be able to hire the necessary kit from you? Also, what would I need to beg, borrow or steal (or as a real last resort buy! ) in the way of tackle??

I`ve got basic downtiders onboard,ideally to get the best out of the day you need to be using uptide gear,as we`ll probably be fishing smoothies,rays etc.

Tackle fro downtiding would be 1lb leads,simple running ledger ,and pennel hook rigs.Uptiding 8oz Geminin`s ,running leger,and pennels....
