Hello everyone, I'm looking for some info on the wilson flyer 20 has anyone had the pleasure of owning one or fishing from one. I saw one last week and liked it alot, good sized cuddy and good deck space, the one i saw was new though and i thought thats the next boat for me, but i'd like some info first.

Re: wilson flyer 20

Not been on one but met one about 17 miles out from the south coast so must be pretty seaworthy! We fished the same wreck and it coped well with the swell...didn't catch as much as me though!
Cheers Jules

Re: wilson flyer 20

i used to own a pilot 590 with a 140 yamaha outboard, very similar to a wilson, only one problem it slammed in a short choppy sea.
good stable fishing platform though.
regards karl

Re: wilson flyer 20

I would agree with Squidlips. I have a 15ft one and have been out in a 19ft one. They slam quite badly in a chop, but they are very stable on the drift. They also get up on the plane very easily. Certainly a good choice for a 1st or second boat, especialy if you dont have the budget for something like a Raider or Warrior.
