If you get a Tuna on your line with the gear you're taking you'll wet yourself, in fact you will most probably be overboard. Definitely a case of the fish that caught the angler, though I suspect it was a tongue-in-cheek comment

A harpoon is not good way to catch fish. Rarely do they kill it outright even in the hands of competant users.

thanks guys,loads of help,will get my fishing gear sorted out.think i might go for tuna and try using a wire,heard too they are pretty tough.

might be worth finding a website from the sorta area where tuna are caught and find out what sorta gear you will need
