North East Species

Although I have been boat fishing for many years and own my own fishing boat and yacht, I would like to know if anyone has heard of different species of fish being caught off the North East coast.

The main species I would like to fish for are Tope and Doggies. I have heard that dogfish are being caught off Seaham but i`ve never heard of any Tope. Could this be because no-one fishes for them?

I would like to know what set up to use for Tope and Dogfish.
