Exclamation Installing Fish Finder on 12 ft Raft?????

Hello,

I just bought a LCR 3004 Hummingbird Fishfinder. Does anyone have any tips on istalling the transducer on the bottom. I am limmited because I have a rubber raft.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Installing Fish Finder on 12 ft Raft?????

If the bottom is a thin layer of rubber (ie: no air) you could try siliconing the transducer to the inside of thr floor near the back. If this will not work you will need to build a bracket to hold the transducer in the water directly. As for power try a 12 volt motorcycle battery for power.

Good Luck

if you use a 12v trolling motor, you can mount it to the body with a hoseclamp. If you row, Woodsmans rec. is prob. best. Good luck & let us know how it worked out.
