| HI LADS TOPE HERE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS TO GET OUT IN THE BOAT AND FISH A FEW WRECKS,BEFORE I TAKE RICHARD OUT. BUT FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS THE WEATHER HAS BEEN WINDY. I WAS HOPING TO GO FRIDAY JUST GONE,BUT WAS PUT OF BY THE WIND,SO ENDED UP FISHING THE OUTER HARBOUR WITH SHELTER. STARTED FISHING ABOUT 09.30AM,HIGH TIDE WAS 14.30PM AND WAS A 7.1METRE TIDE.WE HAD FRESH YELLOWTAILS AND FRESH PEELERS.THE WATER WAS REALY COLOURED.BOTH USED TWO RODS EACH. WE CAUGHT DABS TO 2LBS,WHITTING,CODLING TO 3LBS,DOGGIES,POUTING,FLOUNDERS AND A FEW SMALL SCHOOL BASS. THE DABS WERE NICE TO EAT,BUT THE CODLING,POUTING,FLOUNDERS,DOGGIES,WHITTING AND THE SCHOOL BASS ALL WENT BACK ALIVE. MY NEXT TRIP IS ON THE 28TH MARCH WITH RICHARD AND HIS FATHER,ON OUR FIRST WRECK TRIP OF THE SEASON.     |

| They're bloody good dabs them Tope matey... I've had dabs to over a pound and my personal best is 1lb. 10oz, from the shore that is... a dab to 2lb. thats outstanding, they must have been belters.. great stuff.. |
