| hi there, i am going fishing off skye, out of Uig, and i was wondering what you can get up there? and what to use, i have muppets, feathers, hokeyes, rubber eals, shads, etc, i need a wee bit ofinfo before i go so i don't look too stupid. i normaly beach fish so i have no idea whats going on on a boat. cheers charlie |

| well i didn't manage to go out on a boat, it was too rough on the day so i spent the holiday shore fishing. over a hundred mackeral caught - they bleed so much and they crap on your hands when you un-hook them!!!!(I have never caught mackeral before) and also the best fish was an 11lb pollock caught on a squid fished 4ft under a float, man that gave one hell of a fight!! |

| nice pollock thats a nice pollock mate they go like hell when they take we get loads of mackerel up here they get to be a pain in the arse some times i have never tried squid for them just work the jelly worms for them theres a competition here tomorrow hope the weathers ok all the best for now charlie |
