boat trip

hi Guys and Gals. its all got a bit messy but from what I can gather there is quite a lot of interest in going out from Gosport on the 1st of august The names I have so far are:- down south, kenny, gus, ben, kenny has another guy willing to make up the numbers, Any more for the trip?????
sorry to be a bit pushy but the boat is filling his dates fast and Ive' had to pencil that date in, and now I have to fill it We need a minimum of six,, eight would be great. If anyone wants to come but has to travell and wants to stay overnight let me know and I can arrange all that for you.

regards gus.

Re: boat trip

Gus,

I'll ask AndyG. I think he'll be up for it. Are we going to make this an annual? competition, or is it just a fun day?

Cheers
P.

Re: boat trip

hi guys, the tide is a big one so It will be rough ground fishing for tope, the second run of smoothies should have started, bream will still be here,
pout dogs and mackerel and the odd porbeagle ( for those with a strong constitution) as for making it a regular thing thats up to you, I would think we have to go to different ports each year to give others a chance to go (and organise it) but if you want to do it from one port that would not be a problem maybe we could enlarge it to a weekend thing with beach and boat together, there are lots of possibilities, but it's up to the electorate.

cost of the trip will be;- seven going £40 including bait
eight going £35 including bait
If you bring your own bait Deduct £5.00

I get the bait wholesale so I doubt if you will get a days bait cheaper,

Re: boat trip

I think the idea of moving it around the country is a good idea Gus, and I also like the beach/boat weekend idea too.

Re: boat trip

hi ben, this is the whole idea of the trip to give people a taste and some instruction in the arts of boat fishing, we'll show you how to make the rigs and what rigs to use to catch what fish and which baits to use.
