Re: What Rig For Black bream?

Hi Keith,

A 2 or 3 snood paternoster with a number 1 or 2 hook would suffice. If there is a lot of activity use only 2 snoods.

A great bait for Black Bream is Mackerel guts tipped with either a sliver of Mackerel or squid to keep them on, the guts are difficult to put on but well worth it. Another tip is to mince up some Mackerel and use it as ground bait. A good skipper will have a mincer on board but you can pick them at at car boot sales for a few pence.

Cheers

Drew
