Hey, well done Dave. I've been waiting for a chance to try the famous pies. Weather looks set to improve next week too. If there are rays about what are the chances of landing one on a carp rod? Other than the plaice are there likely to be many other species about, got a lot of ground to make up over Smoothy and Welly in the species hunt!

It's not the species hunt im too worried about on here, it's the club comp ive entered with Pete this year which is what Im fishing toward this coming trip and for the rest of the summer. Cash prizes too!!

Im all but ready for the trip. Just need to get some rigs tied........like when I dont know........cant wait to get going. Metcheck looks good as well.
