| 4 days on Tiger Lily Managed to sneak in an extra day when someone dropped out of the trip and because it was to rough to get to the intended mark we had a little species comp around Portland and when we stuck our nose out past the Bill it was very choppy so we came back inside again, ended the day in 3rd place with 9 species including some more Red Band Fish. The proper part of the holiday was this week out Mon, Tues and Wed drifting the banks for "flatties" Managed a couple of Plaice on the first day but no Turbot or Brill, had a few Squid on Monday but could't find them after that. I tried for Gurnard on Mon afternoon whilst the other were Plaice fishing and had a couple of reds when I had a gentle bite which I lifted into and the all hell let loose as the "Gurnard" decide to see how much line it could take of my reel, I eventually landed this little doggy   On the Tues I decided to catch some sandeels for bait and had this which I unhooked very carefully  A good few days on the best boat in Weymouth __________________ Species 2011 = 54 2010 = 44 2008 = 29 2007 = 51 2006 = 44 2007 = 37 2004 = 36 LIFETIME = 70     |
