Sandeels......

I know the seasons are about to change and soon sandeels will become unavailable. The thing is I've got enough in my freezer that were originally from live bait to last a good few boat trips.

Will the fish continue to feed off sandeels out of season? Or should I switch to a different bait for the cooler months?

Thanks

Mark

Re: Sandeels......

Thanks for the reply Chaz, I'll continue to use them then. Maybe I'll take some other bait too just to have a couple of options.

same as you...definatley lets some scent out but also stops the hooklengths twisting on retrieve.

Re: Sandeels......

I watched a video online recently and the guy presenting it also cut the head and tail off, he claims it let's the juices out to make the bait more tempting. Which makes sense.
