Who's fishing this weekend?

ME!!!

After a rather disappointing wrecker last weekend, I'm out again on Saturday with the Blandford Sea Angling Club.

We are fishing with Steve Porter on True Blue II and everything looks set to make it a great day. I have reliable information from John Marshall that this is the weekend that the pollack will move in from the west and it looks like we're gonna get caught up in a mini-heatwave. We will be concentrating on wrecking for the majority of the trip and will anchor at slack water, hopefully I'll pick up another ling like last week and maybe a conger.

Another chance for me to try out my new fishtek lumi-lures. But, if they don't work I'll be trying them out over the next few weeks and months - as I've just checked my calendar and I'm fishing every weekend up until the end of April..........YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE.

Keep that last bit to yourself, I don't want the missus finding out!!!!!!!

I will of course post a report and piccys if there are any.

Hey mate how far out are the wrecks you are off to then ?

Im hoping to launch our boat in the next month after anti fouling and although we cant get out to the wrecks at 40 miles out we are aiming to try a few in the ten miles radius - maybe a few odd pollock if really lucky.

Hi Andy,

After being outfished by yourself last weekend I managed to find a space on "Blackjack" out of Mudeford this weekend.

I will be out for revenge with both rods firing and reels blazing, pirks pirking and lures luring + any other ammunition that I can find.

Like yourself we are mid-channel wrecking about 40 miles out.
