| Re: Teignmouth/Lyme Bay outing Perhaps no one has replied, because they have no experance of them, and from an ex charter boat skippers point of view ,wreck info is not lightly shared for obvious reasons . There really is no need for geting a monk on becase no on has replied.... __________________ Mike.. | Re: Teignmouth/Lyme Bay outing Well I thought there would have been some replies of advise or info by now. Ah well guess not. I suppose one more holiday maker taking a cut of the fish quota is perhaps one too many for some people. Anyway I have found all the wrecks I need and they all correspond to the admiralty charts and are logged in the plotter. If you do see coming back in brimming with Bass say "Hi" ![]() |

| Re: Teignmouth/Lyme Bay outing Suggest you look om Googlr earth as with the right tools switched on you will see all the wrecks and poitions. Problem witth wreck fishing, one may be fishing it's head off the next day nothing so it is a matter of trial and error. Dave __________________ A bad days fishing is better than a good day a work! | Re: Teignmouth/Lyme Bay outing Hi Dave Thanks for the reply. Google Earth is good but not that accurate to be honest. I've pin marked the wrecks on Google Earth from Admiralty chart positions (which are pretty accurate) and there is quite a difference. Yes wreck fishing can be very hit and miss at times but I have had more success than not when wreck fishing. Are you local to the Teignmouth area ??? Thanks again |
