| hello all, I have just bought my first boat and am about to enter the world of boat fishing. I'll be fishing Salcombe and the surrounding area (inshore). I have some experience of shore fishing but i have only converted from course fishing in recent years. If anyone can give me any tips on fishing reefs, wrecks or sandbanks for bass, pollock etc, which type of rigs, bait or lures to use I would be most grateful, the more advice the better, cheers |

First of all mate, im only used to shore fishing down our way so im not going to be too much help. Two fellas who come to my mind though are Nimue4 and Tommya. They both fish our waters but a little further up the coast at Teignmouth and the Exe. Another guy on the forum is a guy called Paul Lingham I will take this opportunity to welcome you to the best forum on the net and look forward to reading your posts and maybe even fishing with you.
