Re: Honest opinions please, good bit of kit or waste of money?

Ha Ha Ha Ha lol etc

Knew you guys would come up trumps.

Saw it...wanted it....spent all day trying to persuade myself it was a waste of money somehow knowing it was gonna be mine soon.....thought I'll just try the forum to see if I'm still sane.

OOOOOhhh what a toy? Gonna get it tomorrow bugger the cost the kids can starve and there are loads of street corners to sleep on.

I'll tell the wife it's to watch the prop to make sure we know if it's fouled.

Can you imagine the fun this is gonna be this year? No Kiwi, to your left about a foot, thats it, wait, wait, now strike .....oooohh yes yes yes.

Thanks guys, Jules.....have to hook it up to a video recorder so we can all watch the best bits over and over.

Re: Honest opinions please, good bit of kit or waste of money?

whilst I am really dead jealous....I can't help wondering about how I would feel if I could see the fish but wasn't catching!

when I first got a FF I quickly found that if fish showed and I wasn't catching I got annoyed, if they didn't show up I found it difficult to just settle down and fish properly. Eventually I got to the point where I only use it to show me features, and rarely get exicite by fish signals (and certainly don't have fish id swithed on ever!!!) - then fish hard on the assumption that fish will be there.

so, as an even better way to see if it's a rock, a wreck or a bank - sounds great!
