Re: Tommy. Fishing dates. Weather permitting.

Bigfish - not a name I have seen anywhere (Askari that is); can you point to a retailer?

OK - found it via the wonders of google - interesting bits; and good prices. I think I favour the larger of the 2 Abu ones I have seen as easy to store on board and stainless steel.

I've ordered the penn supermag so I can't wait to try out a new non-level wind

Re: Tommy. Fishing dates. Weather permitting.

We're all just small kids really and want toys don't we. Not surprising that women find us pathetic.

Too old to change though.....my Dad is 76 this year and just got his own boat....good luck to him...thats my inheritance out the window...hope he catches some fish. But not bigger than mine !

Gonna put my dates up soon.

Cheers, Jules

Re: Tommy. Fishing dates. Weather permitting.

Hi Tommy,

Dates to pencil in, nothing carved in stone yet, but these look the most promising....Weather work and etc etc may intervene....

March
17 Th.10.05am
22 Tu 4.25pm
31 th 10.20am V.good

April
7 Th 6.30pm V.good
13 W 9.40am V.good
21 Th 5.30pm V.good
28Th9.40am V.good

May
4 W 4.20pm good
13 F 9.40am good
27 F 9.35am V.good

June
3 F 4.40pm V. good
16 Th 1.35pm
28 Tu 12.03pm V.good

July
8 F 8.10am 8.20pm V.good Could do double tide
13 W 11.10am
20 W 6.15pm 6.15pm Excellent Could do double tide
25 m 10.15am One of the best of the year 4.7m and early!!! Water by 7.30am

Might have to have some time off in August...AWESOME tides 17th to 25th, up to 5.2m!!!! with 4 consecutive days ok for double tide fishing! Sleeping bag on boat time. But it's only march (bangs head repeatedly against wall).

Look forward to hearing from you Tommy.....Marty, Richard, Shaun....pick a date each! I can move off mooring approx 2 1/2 hours before time given so thats when you would need to be standing on the beach waving. Depending on what you want to catch, March and April are mainly bait on bottom for flats, dogs, conger (dare I say cod) wrasse and gurnards. When May comes I spend nearly all my time after bass, may change this year with species hunt and video??? Also odd trips out to wrecks, normally save them for double tide days though as they are time consuming.

Regards all...Jules.
