Redbond here Kevin Redbond.... OK not quite the same ring as James but it's a positive self image :-)

Just joined the forums here and about to buy a new boat with friends for fishing the Solent. Whilst I am normally out there driving charter boats all day I have in fact had very little time for the busmans holiday type of thing to go fishing.

What I was wondering is what is fishing well this time of year and where to go to catch them.

I don't expect anyone to give poor old Kevin their favourite secret marks of course (Unless you PM me!) but can anyone recommend a good list of marks and what is likely to be caught from there at the moment.

The boat will get me about ten miles out but I don't want to go further than than that ideallly and probably a lot closer inshore or the Solent as against south of the IoW.
