| William Wins Well I hope to :-) I want to win a bass fishing competition but only by playing against myself William James Coppin. Why you may ask? Well about five years ago I went Bass fishing on a friends boat (trolling) and I caught 12 bass from 3lbs to 6lbs in weight. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the action and the day and indeed the eating. I have now got enough dosh together to buy myself a small boat and go for a repeat performance but I want to do a sort of time trial and see if I can do better than that ultimate day! I want a score board to read William James Coppin 12 and a further entry in the log book saying William Coppin 20 :-) I will be going out from Portsmouth and wondered (we are talking next season here by the way!) if anyone has any tips for the boat, engine, kit and lure. The beer I can decide for myself but as I am, in spite of my success a few years ago, actually a bit of a novice to boat fishing. Any tips or tricks would be welcome. The boat is the most important element I guess to get me out there and I was thinking about a small rib given that I won't be going out mid winter and (probably) don't need a cuddy or kettle. New to these forums but I look forward to posting a few bits of good news up here soon. Regards to all, Will __________________ William James Coppin FSA (Fishing Sailing Activist) |
