| Oh Deep Joy! Well, not quite, Its the weekend...so got to go fishing havent you? Got into the lock at 0800hrs taz was there and a couple of others, Taz suggested following him out as he knew I hadn,t done so clever Wednesday, but he told me roughly where he would be and I opted to go on my own and sort a mark inshore as Taz is capable of distance where I have to be reserved. Got to mark after a hours motoring to find a bl@*dy dirty great big net spot on the mark , , Oh well, down anchored and gave it a couple of very unproductive hours, boll*cks, I'll try my other good blanking spot, on the way I found Taz, also the other boats fishing a mark......damn, it wasn't as far as i THOUGHT! In fact I reckon I had gone out at least a couple more miles than these guys!Good grief! I decided I would plonk myself behind Taz, who gave me a friendly wave on my arrival, i thought this must be good ground as all these other boats were there, then another boat came along, now five,It was a mass blanking convention, diddly squat! Just nice being out there really with a bunch of guys with cabins, watching me getting snowed on, me without a cabin, truly makes you feel......out there! At one with God. B*rstard! ![]() |
