 OMG Ping went on a boat was going pikeing sun pm , but last thing yesterday had a shout from shane in club if wanted to go out on his boat for the last trip of year before going into his driveway for the winter, just staying in estuary well i decided yep, that should be worth a laugh, as you know i aint fond of boats so this afternoon popped down the docks and found shane sorting out meggy moo  and soon we were in the estuary we had crabs and were simply fishing 1/0 and 2/0 running ledger for either bass or flounder  the water was like chocolate after all the rain lately, so things werent too hopefull but first blood to me with a schoolie  then shane really showed me how its done with 4 of his own  no flounder and no taker bass, but a cracking afternoon that i actually really enjoyed wind was pigging cold but new floaty suit had me toasty as well so thanks shane, it was a blast  , and actually looking forward to next year alreadymay trawl ebay for a light short boat rod though as a 10" bass rod was a tad long  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |

Sounds like you enjoyed the change though, i might do the same and take my boat out piking on friday when i'm off school, cause the float tube might be a tad too chilly.
