Nice Cod Today

Fell to black lug, Caught at 10am this morning, weighed 14lb 8oz at 1630 this afternoon, so probably was over 15lb,
guess what I'll be have for breakfast, lunch,Dinner and Tea.

It was only two and ahalf miles off Brighton in the Boat.....Bait was from Newhaven though

Hi Jeff, It was out in my little Tub, Fell to black lug on a Penell style rig, two hooks, black on bottom, squid on top, absolutely brilliant scrap too, the realisation once it was surfaced wasn't too amusing, I looked at my landing net and then at the fish and thought oh....sh*t, its not gonna fit!!!
Obviously I did get it in but I did have abit of panic set in...time to upgrade my landing net and wouldn't be a bad idea to have a gaff on board...amateurs I don't know!
