Re: Gemini 2 Plaice Fishing 04/05/2005

Weird, I posted a reply on here earlier saying pencil me in. Anyway, pencil me in and I'll try to get permission, sounds like fun fishing.

Kiwi,

For those people who havent managed to get on the boat I was wandering if Jules fancies dragging his boat and mine over to the Skerries ?

Im dying to fish on this area and as its only 4 miles out could easily do this assuming it aint too rough.

Are the plaice and sole around now or is it a few months before they start showing ? If they are in now wouldnt mind giving it a bash in a few weeks / month when the boat comes back from servicing.

Cheers mate

Re: Gemini 2 Plaice Fishing 04/05/2005

SorryGuys, been off line for a while due to car and computer problems.

Not sure how to answer this thread. Tommy, Yeah I'd like to burn the boats round to the Skerries, not done it yet.Needs to be done before we die.

Kiwi, not been down to see Nimue for a few weeks so don't know if all is well, would love to come on trip with the guys as well.

Soooo.....am in a dither...do Tommy and I follow you guys out or do I come with you and keep hand held gps in pocket to find marks?

The plaice festival in april sounds good though....do you have to book us in soon? If so....do! Not sure whether to trail the boat round or just drive her round.

I realise this is a crap answer and is no good to anyone but I am working on it and will make a decision soon when I go try and sort Nimue out .All depends on how the motors are working.

Sorry for a pathetic reply...will try and sort myself and boat out.

Jules

Re: Gemini 2 Plaice Fishing 04/05/2005

Its even better than first thought.
I noticed that you and Paul have made the photo gallery hall of fame on this site.
Just been reading about the blonde rays too. I think the carp rod will have its work cut out if you hook into one of these.
Cant wait to go!!
