Hi, Just bought a new 25hp Parsun outboard for my Shetland 535, for anyone thinking of buying one I would say go for it. Got mine brand new for £2,300 with two year warranty, Four stroke - sips at fuel yet has bags of torque. Highly recommended, bought through Bill Higham Marine. Use around a maximum of 9.5 litres per hour if going flat out. For River / estuary fishing I've found I use around half this if that much at all. For the record I have no link with Bill higham marine whatsoever but having had a few "Engine" problems over the last few years just felt I should share this review with other boat owners. Turns out the engine is essentially a Yamaha under the hood, but at around £1,000-1,500 cheaper it's cracking value! Tight lines folks! Dickie __________________ How To Fillet Fish - Free Videos

Re: parsun 25hp outboard review I've heard good things about them myself. I understand they are the only manufacturer to test run every engine, rather than just selected ones from batches. __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey...

Re: parsun 25hp outboard review Yes I believe you are correct that they run every engine prior to dispatch (think might be an hour) __________________ How To Fillet Fish - Free Videos
