Tommy. Forum private boat meet?

Hi Tommy,
You haven't been to a single forum meet yet, you should be ashamed of yourself!
Yesterday we had a meet down Southampton way, really good fun and I just got to thinking maybe this year we could get our boats out loaded with forum guys?
Audi's boat will be ready by march and maybe he can trailer it over.
Must be some other guys will read this and offer to trailer their boats down to south devon for a day.
Seems a usual meet is about a dozen guys so 3 to 4 boats would cover it and a private boat is so different to a charter trip.

If we start to think about it now and look at tides july and august we should manage it. I know a few of the guys do want to come out.

Hope you had a good time on holiday, cheers, Jules.

Re: Tommy. Forum private boat meet?

John,
I know how long these things take, we're talking a possible trip July or August. If you don't have a trailer I have one. Just think it would be so nice to take all the guys out for a day. Small boating is so much fun and quite a bit of hassle so would be good to introduce them to it first hand. Guaranteed to catch more than at Hurst (no fish) Castle though. Sorry Richard.

Cheers...Jules.

Jules read March and panic set in, we're on target for May and could see you for a forum meet July, August.

Re: Tommy. Forum private boat meet?

Hey Jules,

Back from holiday and raring to go - off to fish tonight and probably blank again but at least Ill be out there !

Couldnt make Sundays meet as I only got back on Saturday so still a little bit knakered. Are you going to the meet in Brixham next weekend - should be there with a bit of luck.

Yeah mate - the boat meet sounds great - let me know where and when and we can arrange a day out mate - was hoping to try for cod this Sat at Hopes Nose area in the boat but weather is really bad forecast so have ditched that idea !!

Cheers mate
