Rhubarb & Custard or Orange

Chaps,

Just ordering some sidewinders for next week when we are hoping to get out to a few wrecks to see if we can find some cod or pollack - not sure which colour 7inch winders to buy - orange or r&c - wandered if anyone had a specific preference and why ?

I had heard that R&C are meant to be deadly for cod but then not sure about straight orange ?

Any advice or views very welcome please.

Churz

Re: Rhubarb & Custard or Orange

hi there
I was out wrecking for cod aboard "supanova". One bloke was fishing with a blue shad whilst I was using a rhubarb & custard. I was outfishing him like you would not believe. I gave him one of mine and almost instantly he started catching cod. I would certainly try a rhubarb & custard

Re: Rhubarb & Custard or Orange

Rhubarb & Custard did the job out of dartmouth. It all depends on the weather conditions but the trusted lures are always a good place to start.
