Talking Pollock Trip

Pollock Trip - Well cheque sent ( oops a bit late ) and am ready to go

So what are you guys going to use for the Pollock trip

Me taking Jellyworms , screw tails , storm sandeels , muppets and getting some pirks ( John Marshall Specials )

Very much looking forward to this , just hope the weather is ok as am hiring a car and probably going to get digs on sunday night as its a long way for me with a 7.30 sail

early start though 04.30

as for gear, wreckin booms, twin tails, shads and pirks will be using 6/0 single and treble hooks and might even take some squid

cant wait either as aint been out on boat for many moons ,been out buying gear as i aint got any (at all) so got some french booms (why do they have to be french)some red gills and a few different types of shads which where recomended to me !!!!!! just hope i land a double figure pollack

welly you need to catch two double figure fish on the day, then you can have a 'fine pair of pollocks'
